Resource Developer

Shift Youth + Community

Take the transformational step of joining our team as a Resource Developer. We are ready to invest our time, gifts and life into your journey; come and invest your time, gifts and experience into what God is doing in and through SYC.

By growing one of our greatest resources - people who are passionate investors in SYC - you will exponentially increase the reach, impact and longevity of this precious ministry; resulting in thriving young people, in thriving communities, right across our nation, where they once did not thrive.

Initial commitment 1-2 days a week for a year; a volunteer position for a mature person with experience in the corporate, business, voluntary and investment worlds.

By significantly increasing our income and securing long term funds we will be able to start fulfilling our mission nationally and locally as well as provide much needed support to our staff and team. We will be able to both recruit new team and sustain and retain our current team of both full time and part time volunteers.

As our ministry grows the impact we have will grow exponentially as more lives are impacted by the love and life of Christ. More communities will be impacted for good. Locally, many more young people and members of the community of South Reading will be impacted by our ministry as we are able to mobilise members, add them to the team and live out the good news together. The hope generated locally will be a beacon to communities and Christian leaders nationwide for what God can do through his faithful people.

Resource Developer would be responsible for:

- finding potential investors

- building and fostering relationships with them

- finding ways in which we can invest in them as well as they can invest in us

- being involved in planning our annual benefit dinner and other similar events, that will gather potential investors

The outcomes would ultimately include existance of the SYC assets (property) and legacy left to SYC.

Please note: This opportunity is open to anyone over the age of 18. All SYC staff, both full-time and part-time, are self-supported, this position is unpaid.

Please see the video here where Claire Bankole, CEO of Shift Youth + Community, briefly describes the amazing opportunities available at SYC.

Please mention OSCAR when responding.
