NetWorks works with families, who are predominately Roma, living in extreme poverty right here in Europe. We run a holistic community development program focusing on education, empowerment and employment across three communities in the county of Arad in Northwest Romania.  
As a student in our Missions Training Program, you would spend time working alongside our missions team learning how to practically support these families. 

ROLE/AREAS OF SERVICE

The role is very specifically that of student and a heart of service is key. We are working with families to see them set free from generational poverty and the fruit of this is longterm sustainable change, we do not expect students to solve this overnight but invite them to join the story. Towards this goal our team work within a range of activities and programes and we always welcome people with specific skills in the following areas:

- Education/ child development
- pre and post-natal care
- agriculture
- practical construction and DIY
- buisness/marketing
- photography, film making and social media content creation
- administration

Language skills in Romanian or Romani are helpful but not essential and our team will provide help with language learning and understanding of culture.

Though experience and skill is welcomed it is not essential to this role, much more important to us is a willingness to serve and to learn from the team.

Students will spend 30% of their time in specific times of teaching from our team and external speakers and times of personal study/ devotion and 70% in practical service.

Missions training program is an opportunity to explore faith in a very practical way.
We are a group of people from across the nations, of different ages who are passionate about Jesus and seeing his kingdom come, both in our own lives and in the lives of families living in extreme poverty.
Time is divided between formal teaching or bible study and practical service - where we get to live out the things we are learning.
We invite you to come and walk alongside our longterm missionaries, to be discipled by our team and to live out the gospel amongst the poor.
