A vacancy has arisen for a part-time administrator to play a key role in administering the financial activities and related areas of FCCT, reporting to the Charity Treasurer. This role could grow in responsibility over time.
Essential Job functions include daily processing of donations received (including Gift Aid recovery) and managing the system for payments and cash control using Xero.
Other important responsibilities are managing the payroll, tax and pension functions and providing financial information for Project Leaders and Trustees. This will include responsibility for assisting in preparation of year end accounts.
Then there is the usual office admin including insurances, subscriptions services and memberships.
Previous charity work experience and Bookkeeping proficiency using on-line accounting software like Quick Books or Xero would be extremely desirable, as is a commitment to the expressed goal and values of FCCT as a Christian organisation.
The successful incumbent should be a good administrator and organiser with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn fast and be a self-starter.
The job is expected to involve up to 15 hours a week, with flexible working hours and predominantly working from home. Salary will be based on a Full Time Equivalent salary of £25,000 per annum, including holidays and other statutory benefits.
