Clinical Nurses

WEC International


Join a rural hospital team as a registered nurse, providing primary health care services to the local community, under the management of the national church. Work includes antenatal, maternity, paediatric and adult medical care in Sibanor. Work as a general nurse mainly on the ward, but also be involved in the dressing room, managing the clinic stores and administrative roles. Develop local language skills, build relationships with the church's Muslim staff, and be involved in discipleship activities in the community alongside the Gambian church.

Commitment 6-12 months. This position is non-salaried as all WEC personnel look to God to provide their personal needs. WEC ref: 9110

If you are a Diabetes Specialist Nurse or an HIV/AIDS Clinical Nurse, come and j​oin WEC's church planting team at Kounkané touching the lives of Fulakunda families and having an eternal impact on this Muslim community. WEC are looking for a clinical nurse with experience treating AIDS patients or those high blood pressure and diabetes, to help us bring these people hope for the future, because these diseases are claiming more lives every day in this rural area.
