Evangelist - Church Planter, Burkina Faso - Mission Africa
Submitted: 28/07/10 ; Closing Date: OpenEvangelist / Church Planter - Burkina Faso
Mission Africa works alongside WEC International amongst the Dagari people of south-east Burkina Faso. The last 12 years have seen the church in the region take root and grow significantly. Nevertheless, large areas of the region remain unevangelised. New workers are sought to join the existing team to make the Gospel known and expand the church into unreached areas. The candidates for this position should be enthusiastic evangelists able to operate in a moderately remote environment. An ability to work harmoniously with the existing team is essential. NB that candidates will have to undergo training at WEC International HQ at Bulstrode and meet WEC language requirements in French.
The Mission Africa training policy is currently under review, but we would expect candidates to have some Bible college experience and be prepared to supplement it if required.
For this role you must be a committed Christian, in good standing with your Church. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003. Mission Africa has a Statement of Faith and each applicant will need to signify that they are in agreement with this document.
