Mike works full-time with OSCAR and is involved in just about every aspect of the organisation. Originally from Dunstable, he worked as a pilot/engineer with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Madagascar & Uganda before returning to the UK to set up OSCAR. He has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Grad. Diploma in Mission Aviation Technology. He is also involved in local church ministry, preaching and leading worship. Outside of work, home and church commitments, he can often be found flying model aircraft in the countryside around Gloucester.Office Assistant - Cheryl Frith
Cheryl works for OSCAR part-time, helping in the office and with our database. Originally from Cheshire and married to Mike, she spent most of the 1990s working with MAF in Madagascar and Uganda. Before that she worked for a relief agency and did several short-term trips to China, West Africa and France. She has a Degree in Agricultural and Food Marketing and a Diploma in Evangelism. She is also involved in prayer ministry in a local church. Mike and Cheryl have two teenage children.
